Almost blue Bijoux

We went into Bijoux today. Broken cloud cover limited the effect of the sun on the snow, keeping the hazard low. With 5cm of snow overtop the recent crust, travel was easy. We did the grand tour over to Mount West with some fun explorations along the way. We saw some older loose wet and wind slab avalanches, but nothing new.
