Paddy's

Skinned up the trail to 1550m elev and took in the view. Evidence of old avalanche (snow debris) around 4km point under. Trail can be travelled in boots for first 5km. Around 5km boot penetration is about 30cm. Mostly wind crust on top of facets. Conditions mostly suck, but some OK snow here and there around treeline. Could be more areas nearby below treeline with decent snow; would recommend if you have time to explore. Alpine might be nice in spring...
