A fun day at Quartz Creek

We rode mellow slopes and were peeking into steeper slopes in the alpine. We had fun playing in the recent 20 cm of fresh snow. We found the dry and deeper snow in sheltered leeward slopes. The weather was warm, sunny at times but mostly cloudy with some flurries. The wind picked up and transported loose snow at ridge tops contributing to cornice growth.
