Hector south ridge

Overall great day out with friends. Skied the lower angle slopes in the back side of Hector ridge. Did a short skin to look at conditions for Hector south bowl (picture attached). Along the ridge had Fairly large cornice failure looking a few days old. No reaction on the slope below. -15 at the car cooled through our the day. Probed 114cm at the top of our run. Winds were picking up through mid day at ridge line.
