Freezing rain crust started at the Zopkios parking, was prominent until ~1800m were we stopped.
We did not ski the north needle bowl or the flatirons.
Hard, breakable, unbreakable, wind pressed. Terrible.
This layer will likely be problematic for future avalanche conditions. Extensive water runnels on steeper aspects (sorry, no picture). No signs of avalanche activity.
Snow below this crust was heavy. Varied from 1F to 4F.
