Quick Observation
Great ski conditions enjoyed by numerous parties up on Ogden. One party Lapping (yes, lapping) Phantom Couloir. Several (4?) downed trees on the Sherbrooke Lake trail below the lake; stay high on exit to avoid most of them. A number of the downed trees had been cleared, but more remain.
Avalanche Information
On our last run we triggered a size 1 slab (Approx. 5m wide x 25cm deep) SE or E aspect, ~2400m, on an isolated steep roll (40°+) which uncovered bare rock in spots underneath. No rider involvement or injury. Another party triggered a similar slide on a nearby slope.
Weather
-10°C at ridgetop (2430m) early afternoon (13:30). Calm and overcast. Light flurries (<1cm/hr) began around 13:00.
Snowpack
Probed 100-110cm depth at 2240m (treeline) and variable 50cm to 100+cm at ridgetop (2430m - alpine).
