Only natural activity observed; a few entraining new snow sluffs off the very steep slopes on the west side of the lake.

Digging full test pits seemed a bit over the top today, with a solid meter of new snow from the weekend well bonded to the old interface. I did not get down to the facets from early in the season, now buried up to 3 meters deep in the Tony Grove Area.

I noticed a few fresh loose wet avalanches off the very steep slopes on the west side of the lake. The natural piont release avalanches or sluffs widened as they ran and entrained a good amount of surface snow and created some sizable debris piles.

Snowpack

Graupel layer on the surface. Good deep, but somewhat heavy powder riding conditions.

Very deep snow coverage, with many landmarks, rocks, and small cliffs completely buried.
