Quick report

Snow pack in the Garden City area is around 75cm. The basal facets from a few weeks ago are now gaining strength and cohesiveness. Mostly 1 finger density top to bottom minus the top 10 cm which consists of graupel, near surface facets and small surface hoar. The current surface snow will become the next weak layer when it gets buried by the next storm.

Snowpack

Riding conditions were smooth and fast on northern facing slopes. Top couple of inches was a mixture of surface hoar, near surface facets and graupel.
