Snowpack
Overall snow depth 85cm at time of test (2pm). More rapid loading occurred throughout the afternoon. Storm slab was 55cm at time of test, sitting on top of facets over an ice crust. During the extended column test, the storm slab broke as it was being isolated. Overall the fresh snow was poorly bonded. The shooting cracks we observed were in wind drifted snow different than what we dug into.
