The areas of more snow on north slopes, there were small avalanches. (North slope of Electric Lake Bowl) Snow was loading along the ridge lines. Skinning up to GE Hill the snow was collapsing even though there was only 8 to 12 inches of snow.

The snow had a thin wind wind crust, snow depth was 18 inches, the snow was fist for 12 inches to a melt freeze crust, under the crust was a faceted snow over a melt freeze layer. sorry Photo's did not down load.

Instability Comment

Small chance of a wind slab along the ridge tops of sliding.

In wind protected areas the snow was starting to facet.
