Quick report
While the north-titled terrain in lower Pine Creek looked quite decent, I battled through south-trending terrain above Morgan Creek. I looked at many southeast and south-facing gullies for evidence of wet snow avalanche problems. While I found numerous, they were all at least a day old and small. In this canyon at least, it seems the elevation band for wet snow is narrow, and the window for snow to warm is small. The polars had much better coverage and one is able to skin and ski from/to the summer trailhead. Warm ambient temperatures were wreaking havoc on the once cold snow in the flats and in the trees, and skin wax would be prudent in the days to come.

Inverted and above-average temperatures. Light winds below treeline but I could see some snow being blown around at the summit of Mt Tom.
Snowpack
The snow on SE and S that I travelled between 7400 and 9500 was shallow and lacked stratigraphy.
The snow on NE and N that I travelled was 60 to 100 cm deep, and I found the 1/1 crust everywhere down about 30 cm.
