Snowpack

Pit location at 6000' on sheltered, timbered,  south aspect just east of Canuck Pass.   Generally good stability at this location and overall the snowpack is gaining strenth.  A weak interface 40cm down from the snow surface and directly above a knife hard raincrust produced repeated column test (CT) failures with moderate and hard force. CT 14 and CT23 Q2  RP on raincrust.   A weak layer of facets still exist under a decomposing rain crust about 90 cm below the surface. This facet layer presented repeatable hard force failures in CT's. CT 23 and CT 27 Q1 SC on facets.  No propagation  on any layer in extended column test.
