Quick report
Rain this last weekend (1/26-28th) made noticeable changes to snowpack coverage and heights. Up Trestle Creek below 5000' snowpack heights quickly diminish.
Tomorrow is Groundhogs day, it is not boringly the same or redundant yet, but we hope the hog calls for more winter.

Light to moderate southerly winds at ridgetop. Not snow avail for transport due to wet snow surface. No precip during the day.
Snowpack
Top 4" is wet snow, (melt forms) and down 2" a ~.5"thick pencil hard melt freeze crust.
Snowpack Height: N aspect 6000' 4 feet (125cm), NE aspect 6400 5 feet (150cm)
December rain crusts are decomposing and breaking down, and are down 3 -4 feet deep.
Test results. Moderate/ Hard CT result Q2 and resistant planar results in top 1 foot. 2 pits ECTX, same location as snowpack heights.
Avalanche
observed signs of roller balls and a couple day old small wet loose on steep slopes
