Wimpys

Snow skied upside-down, similar to yesterday but with more effects from the wind.  Winds shifted SW to E midday and maintained moderate to strong at ridgetops. The most sensitive interface was within the storm snow or at the old/new interface; pit yielded no distinct Feb. 18th layer or results deeper.  The avalanche we triggered appeared to be on buried stellars down 40 cm.  I expect conditions to be trending more hazardous with more wind trending into the middle elevations; slabs were setting up near the end of the day and more sensitive as the day progressed. 

We remotely triggered a small pocket on a northeast aspect. Other pockets of isolated storm slab/wind slab pulled out on steep rollovers.
