Looking at snow coverage before this week's storm arrives. Mostly continuous snow coverage on northerly slopes above 11,500 feet. The height of snow varied from around four inches to a foot on wind-loaded slopes. A thin melt-freeze crust existed on all the snow surfaces directly observed.
