In a rare event this winter, the snowpack is now above the winter average, though it should settle/melt quickly if we ever see the sun again. I have my doubts. Snow was steady and at times heavy late morning yesterday, then dry in the afternoon. Then around 10 last night it started and was steady and at times heavy until stopping around 5 a.m. The 24 hour total was 10½" new with water 0.79". Thankfully no wind in all this. The snowpack is at 27" (average for the date is 22½"). Foggy now with no visibility and no wind as the temperature stays warm after a high of 41F the low was 29.
