Sensitive remote triggering conditions from distances of 10 to 20 feet up to several hundred feet. All of the avalanches we triggered were relatively small in size on small to medium-sized terrain features. In larger features or in terrain traps, they would have been dangerous.
About half of the open terrain features that we traveled on produced collapses with shooting cracks or avalanches.Weather

Remote/intentionally triggered a handful of D1 to D1.5 soft slabs breaking on December dryspell weak layers (surface hoar and facets). Slabs were about 10" to 12" thick. Decent views of the east face of Gothic and the NE side of Snodgrass and didn't see any natural activity.
