Quick report
Observers from 4/1 found a wide variety of snow conditions. Considerable wind effect around the Pheifferhorn. Suppotable melt/freeze crust on S and E facing in Alta. Extensive LW debris on the N side of the Cottonwood ridgeline. Poor refreezes in the trees and at mid and low elevations. Several people also mentioned a very quiet Saturday in the backcountry. I heard the gate buttress was packed.
