Snowpack

At 8200', we dug a pit on a SE aspect to assess the recent storm snow. We observed a several centimeter thick wind slab (1F) on top of recently deposited storm snow (F -> 4F), which rested on top several prominent crusts starting 80 cm down. In the areas we traveled and in our test pit, no reactive wind slabs were found.
