Vista Butte

Toured onto Vista Butte and put in a profile on a 20 degree slope facing SW. Slope had some wind-loading, and terrain leading up to the location also demonstrated wind-packing. Did not see shooting cracks or significant snow settlement. Another skier in the area reported triggering small sluffs on the W-facing slopes of Vista Butte. Had an ECTP13 with Q1 shear quality on the old snow interface. When the block fell, there was a split within a density change in the storm snow as well, about 15-20cm.
