Quick report

Saw no other signs of instability, despite spending a good part of the day on slopes 35-40°.

Avalanche

Triggered a storm slab D1 avalanche (crown 6" tall, 20' across) while on a NE aspect. Slope angle was 35-40°. Bed surface was the icy melt-freeze crust that seems to be pervasive.
