Variable conditions but a few enjoyable turns best skiing was the bonus turns near the bottom

Dig pit 100 cm deep. PWL not reactive. CTN 15 12 cm from surface loose slab on interface between recent storm snow and older supportive crust.

<p>Found a variety of wind effected snow. Some slabs. Softer slabs of the newest 4 to 6 inches were somewhat sensitive. Dig a pit at 35 degrees North aspect 8000 feet and was able to get CTN 15 Loosely consolidated slab 12 cm. Poor quality shear. This could be a problem where slabs were more consolidated. This seemed to fail at the interface of the most recent storm with older supportive crust. </p> <p> </p> <p>No other instabilities in pit, dug down 100cm </p> <p> </p> <p>PWL not evident</p> <p>. </p>
