Dig pit 100 cm deep. PWL not reactive. CTN 15 12 cm from surface loose slab on interface between recent storm snow and older supportive crust.

- <p>Found a variety of wind effected snow. Some slabs. Softer slabs of the newest 4 to 6 inches were somewhat sensitive. Dig a pit at 35 degrees North aspect 8000 feet and was able to get CTN 15 Loosely consolidated slab 12 cm. Poor quality shear. This could be a problem where slabs were more consolidated. This seemed to fail at the interface of the most recent storm with older supportive crust. </p> <p> </p> <p>No other instabilities in pit, dug down 100cm </p> <p> </p> <p>PWL not evident</p> <p>. </p>
