Four distinct pockets of Natural Persistent Slab Activity. All were D2 Soft Slab avalanches that appeared to initiate on steep/rocky/convex terrain features, and likely ran during the storm/high winds and PI. Picture 1: from right to left the sizes have widths ranging from 60 to at least 125 feet, and running to flat transitions. The slide on far left in Picture 1 appeared to be much larger, and may have been possibly connected to be at least 1000' wide encompassing Rhino and Portuguese Gap. Depths appeared to range from 1.5 to 2.5 feet. Picture 2 shows the Rhino/Portuguese slide activity as best as could be viewed. Hasty pits indicated 5cm of advanced facets resting on the ground with a 45cm slab ranging from fist to 4 finger plus. Slab Hardness was likely at least 1 finger in the most exposed and wind loaded areas. Widespread Collapsing and Shooting Cracks especially on ridgelines.
