Golf clubs in a ping pong ball

We watched the clouds roll in and the winds pick up at Cain today, with a bit of marginal skiing tacked on. By the time we reached the Golf Clubs, about noon, we lost pretty much all visibility. This didn't harm the skiing much, with our edges pushing around less than 5 cm of rain soaked snow above a supportive crust. We saw the same evidence of the natural wet loose avalanche cycle we noted back on Thursday, with the aforementioned less-than-5-cm on top of it and some newer pinwheels around. The wet snow reactivity we saw at Beadnell yesterday was not at all in play here today. Let's hope we get a bit more snow than forecast! This surface won't be pleasant after it freezes up.
