I did not conduct a formal test to assess the snow, but have been observing my surroundings and conducting quick assessments on test slopes, the new snow was fluffy and not very slabby, so I got cocky and got overconfident on the stability. obviously I was wrong and the snow was cohesive enough to avalanche

Triggered a slide at the south facing slope below common bowl, next to snake pit. I stopped in front of a roller and saw the snow broke below me. The slide were the new snow from 3/19-20
