Pedley Pass

Went up to Pedley for a few laps today, skiing was okay but pretty tracked out in areas. another group of skiers triggered an avalanche in the main bowl looked to be about a size 2 which slid to the ground and travelled 400m down the path. no one was hurt.

Dug a pit on a wind-affected slope about 95cm deep. CTH21 SP down 35cm on facets. lower snowpack was all facets but seemed to be pretty consolidated in this particular spot. snowpack depth ranged from 85-110cm
