Avalanche Information
Looking far out, we saw some old evidence of a small soft slab up in Climax chutes (middle chute with the largest start zone) and way off below Peeler's East facing rock bands we saw evidence of loose dry avalanches big enough to carry but not bury.
Weather
The incoming cirrus clouds turned the lights out and made distant viewing more difficult in the afternoon. Seems to be warming up as well. .
Snowpack
Today we saw very little terrain and did a wide range of snowpack tests around the Slate River TH targeting the Rain crust/facets BTL.  We had a 50/50 split of Propagation and non-propagating results on NE 8900' on a small rolling terrain feature. Those that failed were below the rain crust (4-8cm thick), with one down in the Depth Hoar. HS was 80cm.  Our CT's, however, provided Sudden Collapses across the board, including on isolation. All below the rain crust in the facets.
