Hunting Hooooar

Mediocre riding conditions. Went hunting surface hoar beneath storm snow, found it plenty. Riding in the meadow on low angle terrain was pretty decent. Higher on the ridge was scoured and wind slabby.

Small isolated pockets of wind slabs very touchy and reactive around ridgeline to saddle. Triggered a sizes one from ridgeline before descending saddle.

Warming throughout the day

Recently buried Surface Hoar(10mm) easily reactive 10cm down. Extended column test Hard result not propagating 38cm down on crust.
