Quick Observation

Great day. Rutschblock test (I know not the best but oh so satisfying) needed 14 hard jumps to get storm slab (25cm) to slide. Another ~10 jumps fractured a faint layer approximately 50cm down. Almost unable to detect this layer. Total snowpack depth of nearly 3m at North aspect. We skied steeper lines of of the mini golf zone, sloughing would run with you but stop. I'll nominate ourselves for the stupid skin track of the year award. Too steep and poor line choice, hopefully it blows in and is forgotten overnight! Only one natural observed, steepest face under false summit had released, short runout of maybe 200m on a 10m crown?

Snowpack

Deeper layer also failed about 50cm down.
