Thar She Blows

Bluebird day up at Thar. The skin up bordering the Nak bowl, especially skirting the terrain trap at the flat midsection, was windy. There was evidence of size 1 wind slab avalanches on sunny SE aspects in the Nak bowl, though nothing that we saw on the more straight-south or straight-east aspects of Thar. Sheltered areas were filled out with deep fluffy powder, and even towards the bottom pre-evaluated cliff drops were sent without hitting rocks. Anything too open was wind affected, still good riding but harder to get around.
