Bald Hills / Lovat Scout Loop

Snowpack at treeline 40-60cm. 10-20cm new snow (fist resistance) on top of Fist+ facets to ground. Ski penetration 20-35cm. Moderate to strong winds throughout the day forming highly variable, unreactive wind slabs in all exposed areas. No avalanche activity observed. Skiing was good in sheltered large trees and mediocre everywhere else. Glades at treeline that are typically good were challenging and uninspiring :(
