Skied the zone off Joffre shoulder at the back side of Mt Chief Pascall. Good coverage for approach and pow on top of supportive crust. Many signs of old buried debris from last natural cycle.
Other than noted slab avalanche, no other obvious signs of activity. Watched a crew ski off the summit of Slalok with no apparent issues, could see a skin track onto the Cayoosh glacier area, hopefully with no problems also.
Cold temps tempered the sun again today. Parking lot conversations with other groups suggested good times and no avalanche activity to report.
