Again today the idea was to go up early and be out early. We went on Perley rock, and did 2 handshear that gave moderate results : SP down 70-90cm, on what seems to be SH (see 3rd picture of this MIN). Both tests were done on wind exposed north faces, elev. 1900m and 2100m.
Weather was cold in the morning, but as soon as we got some sun it was very warm. No signs of instability while skiing down, with snow condition ranging from great powder (NW-N aspect) to thick suncrust, which made the descent a bit more challenging.
