Stanley Headwall - Touchy Snow Conditions

My partner and I climbed Nightmare on Wolfstreet on the Stanley Headwall yesterday Monday January 18th, 2022. On the approach of the bench below the headwall we had slab avalanche of new snow go (see photo). The traverse felt quite delicate as the slope was clearly loaded (red flag #1). While climbing there were numerus large spin drift events, with a size 1 avalanche coming down while a climber was following. On the way out on the loaded snow ledge another slab avalanche took the leader for a 10m ride down the slope. No one was hurt luckily.
