Quick Observation

Deep trail breaking today. Below 1950 the crust is starting to facet out and is not as supportive. Skiing at low elevations is still challenging. From 2000m to 2300m the snow was amazing. We had minor sluffing out of steep terrain. We noted a couple of natural avalanches(size 1, 1.5) triggered a day early from sluffing from steep terrain with large crowns in the fans running on the rain crust(see picture). Also noted a dry loose 2+ on NE aspect of shark from over night from extreme terrain.
