Quick Observation

Valley fog up to 2100m, scattered skies above, light ridgetop winds from W, Nil precip. Crust was present at the surface on all aspects and elevations (went up to 2600m) and is about 2 to 4cm thick and breakable, creating mediocre ski conditions, but also bomber conditions to ski some couloirs. Widespread SH growth (sz 1 and rimed up) on the crust in sheltered locations, wind effect in exposed ALP. Signs of previous Na storm slab cycle on unsupported features and main avalanche paths. One even hit the road up to Gibson lake.
