Crowfoot Mountain

Small settlements in wind loaded pockets of inconsequential terrain on approach to Ferris Glacier. Glacier gear ‘went for a walk’ with us. Mainly good practice. Height of terrain and contouring on benches used to mitigate avalanche hazard. 500-750m bootpack to summit on wind blasted ridge. Main hazard sneaky rocks on descent, need to get skis tuned. No notables other than a great day
