Confirming what we already know in this ugly snowpack Pit on SW slope of Blacksmith Ridge at 2,150m HS 125 Test Results: CTV 5cm on the MFCr CTM8 Sudden collapse 45cm down, likely on the January interface CTM10 Break 75 cm down on depth hoar / facets. ECTP20 45cm down on Jan interface ECTN27 75cm down on the depth hoar / facets Surface snow was becoming moist by 1pm, expecting the MFCr to gain thickness on all solar slopes the next couple days.
