Torpy

Decided to check out the Torpy. minimal to no snow at bottom of burn. rugged ride up quad trail. had to chop trees off trail. lots of log hopping at top of burn. super crusty freeze/thaw with 5 cm of fresh on top of a rain crust with a cm of snow sandwiched between another rain crust. aprox 2 1/2 base @ 1300m. Once on ridge probed 125 cm. rain crusts mixed in all the way up to 2000m in snow pack. further back to bowls 2 & 3 average 130-145 cm depending on wind deposits. riding was good and sky's were blue.
