Quick Observation

Went back for more on McCrea. There was a constant howling wind coming from Southeast (ish). Immediate leeward side had a 10-15cm wind slabs. The glacier got a full reset over 4 days with a new 10cm on top. We dug a mini pit and found the reset put a 10-15cm slab on top of a pretty significant layer of facets. I’d say it was a sudden collapse on the 22 tap (or 2nd hard tap). WATCH OUT FOR CREVASSES! Probing going up the second lap, we probed into the abyss. I did a quick draw up of crevasses I’ve seen over the 3 times I’ve been up this week. Be safe and have fun out there!
