Quick Observation

2 warm days at Farnham but still good dry snow on north slopes. Unfortunately each day the crust was creeping higher and by midday Saturday only above 2200 m was still good. Everything else crusted overnight and gradually melted during the day. No signs of instability in the dry snow on high north, but widespread wet loose both days on steep slopes hit by the the sun. Mostly size 1 with a few size 2. Tons of audible ice falls on Commander Glacier.
