Witnessed the first 1.5 wet slab/loose wet triggered by a school bus sized chunk that broke off from Tantalus Ridge (E facing; photo 1). It stopped just before our party. When we regrouped to make a plan and began moving to safer terrain, a significant portion of the remaining slab from the glide crack released (~10 mins after the first; see snow in pic 2 compared to pic 1), triggering an avalanche that entrained to a size 3.5 and moved significantly faster and further (valley bottom). The 2nd slide moved directly towards us (much wider than the first) and we had to run to get out of the path. 6m deep debris at the highest point at the terminus. In the following 2 hours, several more slides occurred including a 2.5 point-release that ran to valley bottom. 2100m start zone elevation with the terminus at valley bottom (900m). 2.5-3m crown spanning 150m. 1005m run length
