Me and all my friends at KP

Busy day at Kootenay Pass. No space in the SW parking lot, NE lot was half full. We enjoyed a sunny skin up to the cabins and Baldy ridge. Appox 25cm of unconsolidated dry snow over a supportive and icy crust. A lot of obstacles remain uncovered. We made a few turns part way up Baldy ridge and the skiing was good where open enough to avoid obstacles. Ski edges would find the icy base on steeper slopes. Sun was becoming strong and snow was starting to fall off the trees but no effect (yet) to the surface snow by early afternoon.
