Rain crust until ~1800m, breakable and punchy approx 5-10cm deep. Lighter snow underneath.
Above 1800m snow quality of the top layer was better, with thin wind crust on primarily E-NE slopes, ~5cm thick and propagated in spots.
Felt signs of a weaker sugary layer about 20-30cm down ~2-3cm centimeters thick sitting above the previous crust.
Spotted a size 2-3 slide off the eastern shoulder of Mount Fee below some steep rocks. Suspect rain and sun from the previous days triggered off the rocks and caused a pretty sizeable slide in a small bowl. Unfortunately no pictures of the slide.
