Steep and Deep

At least 50cm of new storm snow at 2100m and higher. Stayed within the treeline, but to ski, we had to move onto steep slopes due to so much snow. Didn't observe any activity of the storm slab itself (including a lack of cracks or other settling signs). However, the top 10cm was dry, sloughing, and sensitive to remote triggering, which I thought was interesting. Overheard, another group mentioned in the alpine, they observed a size two of the entire storm slab.
