Lookout col

Skied up to lookout col today and around the back towards the Ravens. Winds were calm except at ridge lines where winds were gusting strong from the S. Observed one 1-2 day old natural avalanche that had released from a rocky start zone at approx. 2000 m on a NE facing slope below glacier crest (see photo). Observed no other signs of instability or recent avalanches apart from small dry loose point releases on steep alpine slopes.
