Tried to sneak in a Henderson lap before the storm rolled in on Saturday. The prairie was abnormally un effected by wind. So we had hopes for Henderson. The line itself had evidence of previous strong-extreme winds blowing directly up Henderson creek, with wind scouring down to the ground and very firm serfaces all the way to tree-line.
Debris of an old avalanche (>72hrs) size ~2.5 in the upper runout. Unable to locate a crown.
We skied into the line from the east lower entrance due to the incoming storm and small fresh windslabs building on the west entrance (south east aspect)
The road exit had lots of alders above the snow still. Wouldn't recommend at this time.
