Deep blower snow on north facing sheltered runs! Spent the last few days riding various areas of the rossland range. Conducted stability tests with limited results and didn't see/cause much avalanche activity which had me feeling confident in conditions. Pushed onto a known producer slope I shouldn't have and set off a small slab.

My first turn on a steeper, less supported part of plewman bowl released a soft, shallow slab that propagated about 10-15m wide, ran about 50-100m downslope. Easily rode out of the size 1 slide. Was feeling confident in conditions and was a predictable event but I shouldn't have decided to ride that slope.
