Glacier crest shredin

Travelled up Glacier Crest trail which was in decent condition, few trees down but nothing significant. Some wind affect near ridge top but no slab properties. South slopes had ~30cm new on top of a P MFcr that was very easy to get a DL moving. Dropping into the NW face of Glacier Crest near Lookout Col was 20cm F on top of old P wind slabs. DL felt quite stubborn to get moving but was able to gain mass entraining the top 30cm running until the terrain mellowed out. Numerous new DL off extreme terrain on all aspects was noted but no slab avalanches were observed.

Horrible visibility with cloud bottoms between 1800-2400 with very flat light below. Temps stayed steady -5 at the car to ~ -8 at 2200 and -3 at the car at 1500hrs no blowing snow was noted during the brief breaks in clouds
