Purple/Black Prince

Skied up Purple Prince but there was not enough snow to ski down so we made are way over to Black Prince. Funky soft slab on steep east aspect at treeline, so we skied down sw aspect which produced a lot of whumpfing and cracking especially on the up track. Below the Black Prince tree triangle, on the east aspect we saw 2 0.5 slab avalanche crowns at treeline and one suspected skier triggered size 1 avalanche. Skiing has improved since xmas but the avi conditions haven't. Snowing hard when we left at 4pm.
